The Belgin Francis Crop Collection takes the house’s signature laser-cut and hand-cut leatherwork and condenses it into the most architectural silhouette in the wardrobe — the cropped jacket. Cut to finish at the high waist, every piece in this collection is designed to elongate the line beneath it: over a high-waisted trouser, a midi skirt, or a column dress.

The patterns run from the signature leaf series through criss-cross diamond cuts, Ottoman-inspired mosaic motifs, and the cathedral series — fragmented panels of color-block leather joined with hand-stitched seams that catch light like stained glass. Each cropped silhouette uses noticeably less leather than the longer jackets, which means the cutwork carries the entire piece. There is nowhere for an imprecise stitch or an off-line laser pass to hide; the cropped silhouette is, in many ways, the most demanding piece our artisans make.

Style notes: cropped leather wants verticality below it. High-waisted denim and a heeled boot. A wide-leg satin trouser. A column dress and bare arms. The Crop Collection is for the moment when leather should punctuate an outfit, not anchor it.
