Vest

The Belgin Francis vest collection answers a simple question that takes most leather houses years to consider: what does luxury leather look like with the sleeves removed? At our New York atelier, the answer has always been about line — the long, deliberate vertical that a well-cut sleeveless leather piece creates, and the way that line elongates rather than encloses.

The collection moves through two principal silhouettes. The midi vest sits at hip or upper-thigh, the most versatile piece in the house wardrobe — it layers under a coat in winter, wears alone over a turtleneck in autumn, and finishes a sundress in summer. The maxi vest, our duster cut, runs to mid-calf and reads as outerwear in its own right; it is, quietly, one of the most photographed pieces Belgin Francis has ever made.

The signature leaf-pattern work appears throughout — laser-cut on the lighter pieces, hand-cut on the maxi silhouettes where the longer line rewards a more irregular hand. Every vest is fully lined, weighted enough to drape correctly, and finished with the same hand-set hardware as the jacket collection.

Belgin Francis was founded in New York in October 2001. Every vest in this collection is handcrafted in Turkey from premium lambskin and curated in our New York atelier.
