Blouse

The Belgin Francis blouse collection is the house’s quietest argument: that leather belongs not only in outerwear, but in the layer closest to the skin. Each blouse is cut from the lightest weight of Turkish lambskin the atelier sources — supple enough to drape like silk, weighted enough to hold the shape of a couture cut.

The pieces range from refined day blouses with hand-finished collars and cuffs through to the more expressive evening silhouettes, where the signature leaf cutwork appears across yokes and sleeves. The construction is closer to fine tailoring than to leather goods: hand-set buttons, French-style seam finishes inside, and a precise armhole that allows the blouse to wear under a jacket or alone.

Style notes from the atelier: a Belgin Francis leather blouse is the piece that transforms a tailored trouser into something unexpected. Worn open over a camisole, buttoned closed under a blazer, tucked into a long skirt for evening — the leather reads as fabric, not armor, and that is the entire point.

Belgin Francis was founded in New York in October 2001. Every blouse in this collection is handcrafted in Turkey from premium lambskin and curated in our New York atelier.
